Join Project Alpaca’s Annual Spring Fundraiser Planning Committee

  • We are seeking organized, creative, and mission-driven volunteers for our Spring Fundraiser in NYC, May 2026

  • This high-impact event raises funds for our 2026–2027 cohort programming and Equitable AI initiative

  • Volunteers will collaborate with our leadership, board, and junior board

  • Be a part of an event that brings together NYC’s nonprofit, tech, and civic communities

Key Responsibilities

Volunteers may support one or more of the following areas:

  • Outreach to companies and individuals for sponsorships, raffle items, and in-kind donations

  • Assisting with venue coordination, vendor research, and event logistics

  • Supporting talent, speaker, or host outreach (as applicable)

  • Helping drive awareness through social media and community outreach

  • Assisting with creative elements, including signage, light branding, or merchandise ideas

  • Providing planning and day-of event support

Time Commitment

  • Monthly planning meetings, with light coordination between sessions

  • Increased involvement 4–6 weeks prior to the event

  • Event-day support in NYC (mid-May 2026)
